TI-Nspire Emulator
Posted by Travis on 30 November 2009, 07:09 GMT

Goplat over at the United TI forum has been working on a TI-Nspire emulator over the last few weeks or so. The emulator is currently in a very early stage of development, but is continuing to progress with frequent updates. With an easier way to explore the internals of the TI-Nspire available, a method of running and developing ASM code could perhaps be eventually discovered.

Nice, this will be a great alternative to TI's own Nspire emu (that doesn't even really emulate the real hardware)

I've been having some fun coding stuff and testing it on the emulator. :)

Lol yeah I saw, it didn't took long before TI-Boy becomes cross-platform :P

Now I can't wait until this code can be ran directly on hardware (like through a new OS or exploit)

This emulator is good and able to run nearly all known Nspire OSes.
And I hope it will be a great tool for future development for the Nspire.

yeah, so do I! I was planning on buying the N-spire until I learned about its lack programming capabilities. The N-spire has everything needed for a calc programmers to make extreme games, lots of ram, archive processor speed, and a huge 240x320 resolution screen! Possibilities could be endless if it was able to be emulated successfully with an emulator better than TI's crappy one!
