All I can say is: We had file archives before the ti-files. They stole them from us. Who cares? Other, non-calculator sites had newsletters before ti-files did.

It bothers me that they ripped off -my- poll first. But look at this:

Please honor the following guidelines when posting comments:

Constructive and relevant comments only; no flames. Especially no posts relating to web site competition.

They KNOW it too. And that just bothers me

There are certain features of a web site like this that are just ubiquitous. Everybody will have them sooner or later. What matters isn't who does it first, but who does it right.

Uhh this really has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but what in the heck does ubiquitous mean? Just wondering

"existing or being everwhere at the same time; omnipresent".

Universal, basically.

Finally, a ticalc newsletter!! I have been waiting for this for a while. For your information at the top, a survey was held on ticalc and one of the questions was what would you rather see on ticalc.org and one of the choices was a newsletter. I personally am glad that they got around to making one.

Cool!!

Has does the first one get mailed this sunday (August 30th) or next?

Also I think you really need to have an archive of this so ppl can go back and read all the previous issues.

If you read the article, it says the first one comes out on September 13th.

And we will be having a web archive of all the issues.

Oh. Oops.

To everyone groaning about ticalc.org copying the TI-Files... look at yourselves. You're arguing about a _calculator_ website copying another _calculator_ website. Just be glad there is some competition. It will lead to better sites for the users.

"My calculator is cooler than yours!" Blah.

What do you mean a link? There is a link on the "News & Lists" page.

Re: Re: Re: The ticalc.org Newsletter

I mean a link so you can view it and read it. They should post it on thier page so you don't have to subscribe to it.
