Attention span: 5/10 Only a demo at the moment.
Controls: 8/10 Long firing delay (intentional?).
Implementation: 5/10 Nice graphics, but nothing else.
Overall: 6/10 Wait for complete version.

I was going through the ticalc.org archives looking for a nice game and I came upon this; a 3D wireframe demo for the TI-89 called Battle (at least that's what the author, John Kempen, is temporarily calling it).

While only a demo, you get a taste of what the TI-89 can really do. As of now there's no collision detection, so you may pass through walls with ease, and all you can really do is drive around shooting your cannon.

If the author ever adds the stuff he says he will into the game (AI, skill levels, high scores, etc.), then this could end up being a very nice game to have on your calc.

For now though, it's only a demo, and you will probably get bored with it after about 5 minutes.
