Attention span: 9/10 With both modes, you can play it regardless of what mood you're in. Controls: 10/10 Arrows move, 2nd activates. Implementation: 8/10 To fit same # of blocks on screen, graphics were sacrificed :( Overall: 9/10 An addicting game for just about anybody.
SameGame v1.0 by Gervaise Philippe aka CandyMan is a port of the popular TI-92 game by Jimmy Mardell. In the game, there are four different types of blocks. If two or more of them are touching, and you put the cursor over one of them and hit 2nd, they will all disappear.
The game features two modes: action mode and puzzle mode. In action mode, you try to eliminate the blocks quicker than they appear, because new ones keep coming. The game ends when the screen fills. In puzzle mode, the screen begins filled. The objective is to completely clear the screen. Puzzle mode is much more relaxing because new pieces don't keep coming.
This game is very very very fun. The two modes make it both an active and a passive game, giving it a versatility lacking in most games. I recommend for just about anybody to download this. |
