Attention span: 10/10 You'll play it in every spare minute
Controls: 10/10 Nothing wrong with them. Arrows move, F1 to switch between ball and square.
Implementation: 10/10 Great graphics and great game. True to other versions.
Overall: 10/10 A fabulous puzzle game.

DStar89 is yet another in Alban Gervaise, a.k.a. Endive's series of puzzle games. As Endive himself put it: "Its goal is very simple: you have to catch all the diamonds of the level with two cursors, a square, and a ball."

The graphics in this port take full advantage of the higher definition pixels on the TI-89, while still resembling other versions. In fact, this even has the same 25 original levels.

Version 2.0 adds a feature definitely lacking in version 1.0: saved game. Now whatever level you were working on when you exited is the first level you start with. This way you can work on defeating the game during any spare minute you have.

This game is one of the best puzzle games that Endive has produced so far. Anyone who wants a mind challenge should download it.
