Attention span: 8/10 You'll play it often enough to justify it's space on the calc. Controls: 9/10 2nd to shoot, up and down to move the paddle. Implementation: 9/10 A wicked game of pong! Overall: 9/10 This game is really cool.
Crapong 2.0 was written by Jeff Min. The objective of the game is to get 9 points against the computer in a game which is a mix of pong and a shooting game. You can choose from 5 different difficulty levels. You score a point if you shoot the other paddle or if the ball hits their wall.
For the author's first game, this is actually really cool. The title doesn't do it justice. Even though the graphics are uncomplex, they do all they need to. The combat adds just enough complexity to the mix to make this a game that you can practice at to become a master of.
Since the TI-89 has way more memory than there are games (at least, for now), you should definitely download this game. You won't play it all the time, but when you do, it'll be a whole lot of fun! |
