Attention span: 6/10 Speed makes it tough to take Controls: 9/10 Simple, provided you read the docs Implementation: 9/10 Very well made Overall: 8/10 Speed needs improvement
Tanks is a game very much like the famous Scorched Earth for PC's. You can play vs. the computer or against another human. The interface is very easy to understand and the graphics are excellent. There are multiple weapons and the AI is at a pretty good level (not too easy, not too hard).
There is only one problem with this program: speed. To fire a projectile from one side of the screen to the other, it takes over half a minute. If you don't mind the wait, or you are doing something else at the same time, like writing a review 8), its a pretty fun game. But don't rely on it solely for an action-packed fun-filled way to pass the time.
This game has constant updates so it definitely looks promising. |
