Title **THE ULTIMATE POLYNOMIAL FACTORER**
Description This program is THE FASTEST AND MOST EFFICIENT polynomial factoring program on this website for the TI83+!!!!!!! Not only does it give you ALL the factors, but it also gives you every real and non-real zero the polynomial has!!!! This program is a must-have for all Algebra II students and will even come in handy for Calculus!!!!!! I have used this program in my math class and have never missed a problem!!!!! Instead of using synthetic division with every integer, it uses the rational zeros theorem to make the program up to 10x faster!!!!!!!! DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM!!!!!!!

Normally, when a program's discription includes this many capital letters and exclaimation points, its a sure sign of a poor file, but this one is actually good. It factored even the worst polynomials I threw at it, like 6x^4 + 9x^3 - 3x^2 +18x - 30, very fully. Though the above example took alomst a whole minute to complete, doing it by rational root theorem would have been much harder.

There is, however, room for improvement. Particularly, it can't factor things that the rational root theorem can't handle. This means products of two quadratics with imaginary roots, and such annoying things. For example, 2x^4 + 8x^3 - 73x^2 - 48x + 7 didn't factor (by the way, it can be factored into (x^2 + 8x - 1)(2x^2 - 8x -7)). But, I'm being way too picky here. Congratualations on making an elegant, relatively small program that can make the lives of math students like me a lot easier.
