First I would like to say that this is a great program and looks really close to the actual one from Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow.
But, the screenshot runs quite fast, in reality, much faster then the actual program itself. It is a awesome system, however so don't let this stop you.
Graphics: 9/10
The sprites look great, but I would make the screen where you view the sprite more like the original Pokemon game.
Speed: 8/10
It isn't lightning fast, but I feel it deserves this rating because this is mostly programmed in BASIC.
Functionality: 9/10
Runs well, no errors, but I wish there was a way to quit without having to first select a Pokemon and also, the author did not include the AREA option. To do this he could have coordinates stored to a list and then he could use a program like CODEX to draw a rectangle on the map pic.
Optimization: 11/10
TI-Freak always optimizes his programs until they can't be optimized anymore, and then he still finds more ways to optimize them.
Total: 9.25/10
