Description
|
Catch 22 is a turn based war-strategy game. As of now, it is only for two players. However, artificial intelligence is in the works. Current features include: Over 20 units, ranging from tanks, to submarines, to fighter jets; fog of war; the ability to save 1 game and 5 options settings; the ability to turn off/on every unit in the game; animated tiles; over 25 units to build each having a unique pupose. Give the game a shot, it is one of the few turn based strategy games for the 83 series written in assembly.

"Catch 22" is a fun strategy game for two players. There is no AI, so it does get repetitive. It is a war-based game that features buying many diffent kinds of buildings, and even multiple units for attack.
There is a bug when run from "CrunchyOS," though. You have to delete the app var it makes, or it will just exit and return to CrunchyOS. I'm not sure if that will happen with any other shell. Another problem is that the maps can get cluttered, and it is sometimes hard to tell where the cursor is.
Graphics: 8/10 can get cluttered
Gameplay: 8/10 not the most fun game for a calc, but decent.
Replay Value: 9/10 since the gameplay is relatively short, have fun with your friends over and over
Bugs: 9.9/10 only one very small bug mentioned above
Overall: 8.9/10 |
