"Yahtzee v0.00.00" is a great, easy-to-use game, and does not succumb to the limitations of TI-BASIC. Though not original, it is much better than many other Yahtzee programs. Like the author says, it has many excellent features such as advanced statistics and a Hall of Fame. The program is exceptionally easy to operate; there are on-screen instructions during every step of the game process, and the program runs with more than reasonable speed. The graphical display is pleasing to the eye. A notable feature is being able to press [ESC] at any time to exit the program, and having your game appear exactly as you left it using a pic cache. Also, I have not encountered any bugs over the past several months of playing it. The source is well-commented and therefore an easy read. |
