For anyone whose TI 84+ Calc with MirageOS gets used as a lunch/break gaming machine, I highly recommend “Reversi 2.1”. The graphics and interface are excellent, crisp and clean. The AI is decent; it gives away corners easily but can still beat you when you get sloppy. Want more challenge? Shoot to keep the AI endgame total score under 10, switching sides when you accomplish this moderate feat. Secondly and just as important, games can take less than five minutes. You can eat some lunch between turns - very important when you're filling in brain time while feeding your tummy.
Graphics: 10/10 Lunchplay: 10/10 Day to Day: 7/10 (great AI for a calc, but beatable) |

Note! This review was written for a previous version of this file!
This is a great clone of the classic “Reversi” game. “Reversi 2.0” will give you hours of fun. It has save/load features, human and calculator player select, and a very good AI - either that or I'm terrible at “Reversi,” which might be possible. The only complaint I have about this is that if are using the “MirageOS” version, when exiting to the shell, if you have password-enabled your application, it will ask you to input the password. Although it's not a major concern (yet), it becomes annoying after a while to have to enter the same keys in every single time you exit “Reversi.” “Ion” users, however, do not have this problem.
All in all, this is a great game! 9 out of 10! |
