Attention span: 7/10 It's MineSweeper. It's not fantastic but its fun when you are bored Controls: 6/10 MODE = Set Flag and GRAPH = Exit are too wierd. Should be ALPHA = Set Flag and CLEAR = Exit Implementation: 9/10 The timer and adjustable board sizes are nice. So is the size. Overall: 9/10 One of the best 82 games you can get for under 2000 bytes.
We've all played the classic game of MineSweeper for Windows. Now here's Hideaki Omuro's adaptation for CrASH. In case you haven't played MineSweeper before(practically impossible), the gameplay is very simple. You flip over squares on the board until all the squares that aren't bombs are turned over. If you flip over a bomb, you die. You can tell if a square is a bomb or not, by the numbers on the squares around it.
I think this is probably the best version of MineSweeper on any graphing calculator. This version features a timer, a little smiley face(you'll see it), 2 different board sizes, 3 different difficulties, and classic gameplay. All that for around ~1600 bytes!
My only real gripe with the game is the control kind of sucks. The MODE key is the flag setting key which is a little odd. The GRAPH key is the exit key which is really odd. But all in all a very good game for a memory deficient calc(TI-82 w/28K free mem). |
