Preview of overall score: 9.5/10

“Sn00d” is a very addictive game. This port of it is quite good, and would be a lot better if it had grayscale. The sprites are a little hard to tell apart - mostly, though, because they are moving. When the “sn00d” that you have to shoot is on a different part of the cycle than the ones already on the screen, I have to look twice to tell which is which.

This program is good speedwise, with great animations, and no real delay at any point. I like how the high scores are stored in an external file, so if I want to start over, I don't have to beat all my other highs. The button layout is the obvious one, with [2nd] being shoot, and [left]/[right] to aim. It would be better if there were different designs of “sn00ds”, or perhaps a puzzle game, instead of just the same level.

Graphics: 8.5/10
Speed: 10/10
Interface: 10/10
Features: 9/10 (same level over and over)
Bugs: 10/10 (I couldn't find any)
Overall: 9.5/10

Sn00d is an amazing clone of the ever popular PC-game. Though the Sn00ds themselves are difficult to tell apart because of the limited capability of the 83 plus, the author did an extremely well job with graphics. Some things not included in this game that were in the PC game are magical sn00ds, which would have made the game much more interesting.

I found this game to be excellent except for the fact that there is only one level, the PC game was infamous for the puzzle mode and ability for external levels. The 83 plus version gets tedious after a while.

I'd give this game an 8/10
