"Tetris 5" in written in Basic. Yes, it works, and actually is surprisingly fast. Obviously it cannot keep up with its assembly counterparts, but it works effortlessly without an extra shell.
Being written in Basic, you can edit the game as you please. A simple modification is the pattern of the blocks: change a string in the code, and it's your own, customized Tetris.
The game does levels, and in fact the speed increases as you progress (as you would expect). Nice game, and addictive. |
