Superbness in it's simplest form!

Pete, one of Snoop Dogg's homeboys, is mad. An evil bigass penguin stole his special lady. And contains her in his cave! Ofcourse Pete the pimpin' penguin doesn't like the situation and embarks on his quest to save her out of the floppy wings of The Evil Frosty Penguin. Does he take it as an excuse to cause a massive slaughter among the forces The Evil Penguins? No! He skillfully jumps and sneaks over his enemies to end up in Evil Penguins cave and there recapture his special lady.

Ok this sounds a bit cheesy. And yeah the story is, but hey...ever played a platform game with a good story? No...me neither though I haven't played many platform games.

Basically it comes down to 'side scrolling, enemy dodging and jumping, swimming and timing adventure'. And this makes it one of the most frustrating yet addictive games around.

The game depends on timing and hand eye coordination. When an enemy moves in a close space you gotta move and jump at exactly the right time to make sure he doesn't hit you so that you can proceed in your level. Because when he hits you...it's lights out!

Further details: graphics, on an 8x8 scale I don't think someone could have done a much better job! The enemies come in all kinds in size and type of movement (swimming, flying, jumpin, crawling) which makes the gameplay very diverse.

The game features 5 levels, but that's more than enough to keep you busy. It took me 1.5 years to complete it. Ok it sounds pathetic, but I tried completing the 1st for like 3 months and failed. It's really hard (the game get's easier while you proceed). But when I finished the first level the next ones we're a piece of cake :). And when completed...don't be sad there are enough new levels made with the level editor that Bill released.

Overall: I give it a 95/100. And my advise is; the first level is hard so it might deflect you and drain your faith in ever finishing it, but don't let it mess with your mind. Hang in there and you will succeed!
