Attention span: 7/10 Good, but not as much as others.
Controls: 9/10 Easy to learn, easy to use.
Implementation: 6/10 Bland graphics, a memory problem.
Overall: 7/10 Good game for puzzle lovers.

Towers of Hanoi is an ancient puzzle game. It has a simple object, but you'd be suprised how complicated it can be. It involves a number of circles (of different sizes) and three pins. You pile them on the first pin, from biggest to smallest, and then you try to transfer the circles, moving one at a time, to another pin. The catch: you can't put circle on top of one that is smaller. (According to the readme, you can calculate the minimum number of moves using 2^[number of circles] - 1.)

If you don't feel like buying the actual game, or don't want to make your own, you can play it on your TI-83 (with ION). This game allows you to set the number of circles, and it even features a puzzle mode. In puzzle mode, you start with the circles in a different layout, and you have to try to solve it from there. Overall, this is a good implementation of the game.

Unfortuanately, though, a few things could've been better. The graphics, although adequate, could've been a bit better. My main complaint is that I would get a nasty memory problem on my calculator after I would play this game, which eventually reset my memory (I had Ion 1.6, if that makes a difference). You might not experience this problem, but if you use this game, you use it at your own risk.

Problems aside, this is a challanging game, and people who like puzzles will want to try it out.
