“Ion” is yet another shell for the TI-83/84 series. It is very simple and easy to use, assuming most people can figure out what the directional buttons and the [Enter] key does. It is relatively tedious to install, as one must go through a series of steps and the final result is a program called “A.” It shouldn't be much of a problem for anyone. Ion has a large file library, so that is a plus, and many of Ion's programs also work for “Mirage OS.” There is one issue about "electronic suicide" however. I ran it, and it cleared my RAM, and since “Ion” was the only thing in my RAM, it basically deleted itself. I have steered clear of it ever since. I would recommend this program for those who have a calculator for games, but not those who worry about the safety of their information.
