     Introduction
Use your calculator as a timekeeping device for standard Lincoln Douglas or Public Forum Debate rounds. Manage your speeches' length to win (or judge) rounds within bounds. Accurate to the roughly the nearest second, you can pick from the various labeled run times. If the speech runs short, you can easily move ahead in the round. "Grace Mode" can help you record the duration of even egregiously lengthy speeches on the ballot. And for the more lull moments, the calculator can track prep for both sides, automatically depleting it. Finally, the current time is easy to check, letting you gauge just how late the tournament may be running. The envy of all local high school debaters, this program has yet to be endorsed by any forensics association.

     Installation
Download the .ZIP file from ticalc.org. Extract all the files. Connect your TI-89 (or similar calculator) to your computer.
Send any number of the following files to your device using a program like TI-Connect or TiLP:

debtimer.89p (w/ on-calc help, graphics, and both events)
ldtimer.89p (if interested in Lincoln Douglas)
pftimer.89p (if interested in Public Forum)

All the files should be in the current folder, as per the MODE screen. Also, make sure that the clock is on and the base is set to "DEC".
Launch the program with "debtimer()", "ldtimer()" or "pftimer()" in the HOME screen.
Single character variables, the IO and graph screens, and other things may be altered by running this program.
