1. GAME DESCRIPTION:
====================

This is a simple combat program. You are in control of a very powerful warrior, or at least soon to be powerful warrior. Your job is to guide this warrior and to build up his skills and abilities by battling increasingly difficult enemies of varying strength and ability. Using the programs and files included increase your warrior's strength and defense by earning money from battles and buying better and stronger weapons. Let the battle commence!

2. INSTALLATION:
================

Well before you can actually begin battling and increasing your strength you must first install the program. This is very simple to do, all you have to do is to take your calculator link and using the software that goes with it send the BATTLE.89G to your TI-89. Very simple. All the files in this group will be sent to a new folder called BATTLE, all the files you need are in that folder and if you ever accidentally delete one of them you will have to reload the group by link again. If you want to you can archive all the files in that folder to free up some RAM, but it doesn't matter if you archive the files or not.

3. PROGRAMS:
============

There are a few programs in this group, but of those few you only need to concern yourself with the battle() and shop() programs. Here are the program descriptions:

	battle()-
		This is the combat simulator program, all you have to do to execute this program is to type in battle() on the home screen and press ENTER. The program will automatically load your current stats and based on your strength develop an enemy. After the program has completed loading you will see two strange looking characters on both sides of the screen, you are the guy on the left side. Below each of the characters are two bars, the top bar represents health and the lower bar represents magic power. At the bottom of the screen there will be text, at the beginning of battle it will tell you the color attribute of your opponent. Press Enter when you are done reading the messages that it displays to continue. (More about controls in the CONTROLS section of this readme) The battle ends when either you or your opponent run out of health. If you win you gain a certain amount of money based on the opponents strength, and if you are lucky you will get his weapon or armor. But if you lose the battle, you loose money.

	shop()-
		After earning some money you can run this program to purchase a new weapon or new armor. Purchasing a weapon higher than the one you own and equiping it will increase your strength, and the same for defense but with armor. The rest is simple to understand.
