I. Introduction
   Chess86 0.9 Preview Edition is a chess game for the TI-86. The goal is to capture the
   enemy king. This is only a preview release. Move checking, AI, and other features will be
   implemented in future versions.

II. System Requirements
    A TI-86
    Approximately 6800 bytes of free memory
    Additional memory is required for the saved game (1100 bytes) and temporary variables

III. Running the Program
     First, send the group Chess86.86g to your calculator via TI-Graph Link or
     equivalent. Then run the program Chess86 from either the home screen or a shell. Use
     [2nd] to select an option at a menu or select/move a piece. When moving a piece, move
     the cursor over the piece you wish to move and press [2nd]. Then move the cursor to
     where you wish to move the piece and press [2nd]. To deselect a piece, press [Alpha].
     To view the Pause menu in the middle of a game, press [More]. At the Pause menu, you
     the option to either save your game, continue, or quit. NOTE: Since this is a preview
     edition, there are several bugs that effectively prevent full enjoyment of the game.
     These will be eliminated in future versions of Chess86. Until then, you can enjoy the
     fast (for a BASIC program) graphics and realize that this is only a preview of what is
     to come.
