Plot : Find George's Guitar in our high school

I was desperately looking for something NEW to program so I asked (told) George in our AP Physics class: "George give some ideas for a calculator game." He said "Pacman." Already Done. "Zelda" Already Done. "A science fiction sports game".........Um...I'll work on that...(not)... "How about one of those desktop adventure games?" That got me thinking. I thought of the Indiana Jones (TM) Desktop Adventure game that I love so much and I thought "Yeah that would be pretty cool!"...And what would be even cooler is if George were in it instead of Indy!
We immediately asked Brandon (who sits in front of us in AP Physics) "What name would you give to a game with George in it?" He thought for a second and said "How 'bout 'George Shakes His Junk'?" We all thought this was great and I proceeded the next day (Saturday) to begin work on it. Problem is that graphics are difficult when you have limited time for Z80 programming. So after a while (Sunday evening) when I couldn't remember which label checked which direction (YOU look at the ONLY-ALIGNED PUTSPRITE and try to figure it out!), I abandoned the graphics version and started to work out the text version on Monday.
The end result is this thing. If anyone wants to optimize it be my guest and I'll re-release it with your name in the credits. If anyone wants to make it with graphics I'll give you half credit in the game (I swear, graphics don't hate me and calculators don't hate me but the two of them together just LOVE to create havoc) (See P.S.)
Anyway, hope you enjoy it. George did.

Keys:
-Arrows : Move
-Delete : Save and Exit: WORKS AS A TEACHER KEY! (There's only one save spot for now but I can easily make it more than 1 if I get enough requests (i.e. More than 1 ;-) )
-Exit : Quit without saving

Known Bugs:

Zero. Zilch. Cero. NONE. (Get the picture?)
The words "the stairs are to your left" aren't a glitch...they're a preview of what's to come (I hope)

Versions:	*NOTE* The *|entire game|* was completed in (Thank God for them) 2 SNOW DAYS! (And I live in Western New York where we never have snow days!)

	0.3520012131g (This is code for 3/5/2001 21:31)
-Gamma Version (incomplete code)
-Plot isn't even worked all the way yet

	0.3620011232g (This is code for 3/6/2001 12:32)
-Gamma Version
-I finished the plot! I finished the plot! I fini... sorry.
-While it's gamma, it's got much of the code finished. I just have to finish a few areas and tweak some of the code.

0.3620011500g (This is code fo...You get the idea)
-Gamma Version
-Just have the library and auditorium to add in and I'm done (then its on to tweaking!)

	0.3620011542g
-Gamma Version
-That library was a pain in the butt. (If I had realized earlier that call _vputs wasn't in there it would have taken a lot less time.)
-Auditorium and a few variables left to do and I HOPE to have them finished before dinner.

	0.3620011600b
-Beta Version 1 (Complete for programmer's first dry run) (On a real calculator...I've been testing all along on VTI.)
-I got those variables done a lot faster than I thought I was going to.
-Save & Load options aren't completely finished but I just want to test the program to see if it runs how it's supposed to.

	0.3620011723b
-Beta Version 2 - Complete minus save and load capabilities

	0.3620011750b
-Beta Version 3 - Everithing works including the save and load functions.

	1.0R
-Release version (minor space-saving code changes from Beta Version 3).

Future Versions:

-Random item placement
-Add the second floor of the high-school (the stairs are visible in the text)
-A whole lot more work to get his guitar
-Timer so that you only have say 80 minutes (the time of one block in our school)
-Have Vinny wander the halls so I have to use the random routine instead of finding him where you know he should be found. (What do you think I'm going to tell you where he is?)
-Any other suggestions that I get (I'm open to pretty much anything)

Special thanks to Dan Jones, if for no other reason than he's the only other person I know that has a TI86, for beta testing this thing (with version 0.3620011750b), Brandon Gill for the titlename, and of course Geroge Grady who inspired both the game and the title. (Oh and to you who downloaded this game;-)

P.S. If you note the date stamp (if you have Windows (TM, C, R, and all the other one and two letter abbreviations that mean mean the "Windows" belongs to Microsoft...Which is a word that also has most of those abbreviations)) I edited this on the 6th of June 2001...Waaaaaaay after March 9. The reason is that I wanted to inform you, the downloader, that I'm currently 2/3 of the way done with writing a real graphics version but it has a completely different type of plot and a new(?) main character. I don't know how far I'll get because I've kinda hit an impasse, but I'll figure it out. Anyway I've also started a graphics version (with grayscale even!) of this game, so count on me not touching this text version probably forever. AND FOR GOD"S SAKE IF YOU CAN OR KNOW SOMEBODY THAT CAN DRAW REALLY GOOD (or halfway decent) GRAYSCALE SPRITES GET IN TOUCH WITH ME!!! I can't draw to save my life (straight lines yes, anything else no:). Enough chat...I've got to go eat dinner.
