1. Intro
Tim-O is a money organizer. It is different from others, however. Since strings are used often and the are only ten of them on the 83(+/S), Tim-O uses a long, dementing, and bothersome to change method that converts the description strings into numbers for lists, and when viewed, converts them back. It has 8 history items so you know where your money went.

2. Installation
Send RWTIMO13.8XG to your calculator, and ungroup it. The files involved are:
RWTIMO.8XP Main file. Run Tim-O using this.
     RWTIMOA.8XP Deposit/withdrawal program.
RWTIMOB.8XP Program used to view lists
Lists created by Tim-O:
     TIMO
     TMONY
     TDATE
     TDESC
     TIMO(theta)

3. Using Tim-O
Simply run RWTIMO.8XP. Probably about 12 kb of RAM is needed to run Tim-O and its lists. When running for the first time, it will ask if you want to create a new set of lists or use a back-up; do the new option, because there is no back-up yet to use. When doing a deposit/withdrawal, here's how to input it:
Date - Type the month in mm format (ex. Jan. is 01, Dec. is 12), press enter, and do the same for the day (dd). For the amount, simply type in the amount. No + or - is needed, this is added when you choose to deposit (+) or withdraw (-) money. For the description, type 8 characters. For these, you can choose letters, numbers, a space " ", theta, ":", "?", numbers 0-9, "/", ".", "-", and "+". USE ONLY CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!!! Also now you can use preset messages, which make Tim-O run a LOT faster (and makes it run reasonably on a regular 83+). Just type in * and a number from 1-11. The preset messages are:
     *1 --------
     *2 W LUNCH
     *3 W WORK
     *4 WORK
     *5 FOOD
     *6 STORE
     *7 GAS
     *8 CAR
     *9 R/C
     *10 FLYING
     *11 COKE
To view the whole list, choose "View Money" from the main menu. To reset all lists pertaining to Tim-O, choose "Reset Lists" from the main menu.
If your RAM is reset, Tim-O asks you at the next start-up if you want to start a new list or if you want to use the back-up it updates & archives each time you run the program.
NOTE: If the program will not run properly, most likely you will have to delete all lists to solve the problem. Go into memory management and delete the lists TIMO, TDATE, TDESC, TMONY, and TIMO(theta). Now try running the program.

5. Version History

v.8 Size (w/o lists): 5.8 kb
Basic structure, didn't do much except string conversion. Released 11/19.

v1.0 Size: 18 kb
Working version, but was a BIG file size and worked SSSSLLLLOOOWWW. Used many multiple files, basically a quickie finish. Never released, and it's good it wasn't. It could have caused a nuclear war or something.

v1.1 Size: 6.6 kb
Cut size down considerably, works faster, better, and uses 4 lists instead of 25. Archives lists upon exit. Released 11/25/02.

v1.3 Size: 7.6 kb
Switched some num's around so '-' would appear instead of a space when viewing lists that had not been edited. It appeared before that nothing was happening, which confused people. Took '*' out of the list of characters, it did not show up right for some reason when viewed. A back-up feature was added (a critical addition). Also, a new title screen was added (which takes up about 500 bytes). Never really released: was about to, but then 1.4 came along.

v1.4 Size: 9.0 kb
Added in the preset message option, did some other small things. Runs a lot faster now if the preset messages are used! Released 12/29/02 (my birthday! yey!)
