========    INSTALLATION    ========

Use TI Connect or TiLP to download one of the 8XP files to your calculator.
That's it!

The only difference between the two is for the timer (and yes, there's a timer).
The two versions ensure that it runs at about the same speed on both TI-83 Plus
and TI-84 Plus calculators.

To play, you can run prgmMINE from the home screen or start it from any popular
shell, such as MirageOS or DoorsCS.

========    MENU    ========

If the "mine" graphic loads too long (especially on a TI-83 Plus), open the
program editor to edit program MINE and remove the six lines starting with
"For(I,0,31" and ending with the nearest "End," near the beginning.

Use the left and right arrow keys to select your difficulty and press 2nd to
start the game. The BEGINNER board is 8 by 10 and has 10 mines, INTERMED is 9 by
12 with 20 mines, and EXPERT is 10 by 14 with 30.

========    GAMEPLAY    ========

I won't go into the details of how to play Minesweeper, so if you don't know how
to play, Google it.

In this version, use the arrow keys to navigate. The cursor will wrap around at
the edges of the board.

Press 2nd to open a square. If it is a blank square, flood-filling will begin
until all connected blank squares are revealed. The timer does not move during
flood-fill.

Press ALPHA to flag (mark) a square. Pressing ALPHA again will remove the flag.

If you win (or lose), press ENTER to go back to the menu screen.

Press CLEAR at any time to quit.
