MEAN 1.2 user guide
===================
MEAN is used for geometric and arithmetic sequence means, and some series
functions, on the TI-83 or TI-83+ calculator.

USAGE
-----
When you run MEAN, there are three inputs: A (the first number in the
sequence), B (the LAST number in the sequence) and N (the number of terms in
the sequence).

Then there is a menu where you select either arithmetic or geometric
calculations.

The common difference or ratio is given as D and displayed.

Then there is another menu that should look like this:

	MEAN 1.21- SHACK
	1:STORE SEQ
	2:SHOW SER
	3:GRAPH
	4:QUIT

Option 1 calculates the total sum and full sequence, storing it in L1 and
displaying it. If the list is too long for the screen, you can use the cursor
keys to navigate.

Option 2 calculates and displays a series of a number of terms asked for which
is independant of the number of terms in the sequence. It calculates the
sequence up to that point, adding all the way to the variable R and finally
displays the value.

Option 3 creates a graph that represents the sequence, stored in Y0. It
requires the program HEXI to convert the appropriate variables into strings.
Versions 1.21 of MEAN and higher require at least HEXI 1.47 to operate. Earlier
versions of HEXI will give domain errors.

Option 4 quits immediately.

FURTHER RELEASE NOTES
---------------------
GRAPHING IN VERSION 1.21:
For both arithmetic and geometric sequences, the sequence begins at x=0, so
	t(1)=x(0).

This information is here because earlier versions had faulty coding that made
the arithmetic sequences start at x=1.
