Bored Games
By: Juan Carmona

This is a small collection of TI-82 BASIC games that I wrote several months ago. I had no desire to put them on the Internet because I personally felt that I was not the good a programmer, but after every single person who has seen my games told me to, I figured what the heck. So here they are. Most of these games, except Lights Out, are two-player, on calc games. Chess, Checkers, Othello, Connect4. C4 and Othello are pretty much bug-free, but Chess and Checkers still need a little work.

Controls for Chess, Checkers, Othello, and Lights Out!:

UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT - move blinking cursor
GRAPH - selects current square
TRACE - cancels current selection
MODE - quits
MATH - save current game (Variables G and [B] must remain unchanged for game to continue)
Y= - pauses game (save bat. For longer game)

Connect 4 Controls:

LEFT, RIGHT - moves dash
DOWN - drops piece in selected column

Notes:
Checkers has been a real challenge for me to debug. Although it is quite playable, there are some things that you have to know. When you take an enemy piece and cannot jump again, press TRACE to go to next player. TRACE will also skip to the next player at any point in the game if a bug causes you to do so. I am not a chess buff, so if there are any special moves I have missed, let me know at majc69@yahoo.com.

I hope you enjoy these games, and if you have any ideas you would like to see on a TI, bugs in my progs, or just need someone to email, drop me a line or two at : majc69@yahoo.com
