Resistance Color Codes. v1.0 Feb-13-2001 F.J. Agosto Description: This is "NoStub"(kernel-less) program that given a resistance value it will give you its color code. It Works with ti-89, ti92plus. Usage: The program accepts values in the range of 1Ohm to 99MOhm. The value can be passed as an argument to the program. If the value is given in the command, the oputput will be shown on the main screen. If no value is given on the command line, the program will ask for a value. The value will be shown on the program screen. Examples: resistan(17000) output: Brown-Violet-Orange resistan(17e3) output: Brown-Violet-Orange Limitations: For now the program just give color codes for 3-band (omitting the tolerance band) resistances. 4-color bands could be implemented in future.
