LINEARIZ (LGM) v1.00 TI-89 "Linearization" by Dmitriy Myedvyedyev (aka Dima Medvedev, aka Dimalitious D-Myster) medvedbr@hotmail.com Category: BASIC/MATH/CALCULUS Starting - Completion Date: 03/21/2002 - 03/22/2002 ***THIS PROGRAM IS AVAILABLE WITH MANY OTHER USEFUL CALCULUS PROGRAMS IN A CALCPACK PACKAGE CALLED "CALC1LGM" (available by the beginning of April of 2002) Copyright 2002 Dmitriy Myedvyedyev -------------Description: This program asks you to enter a function and a point x0 near which the linear approximation will be calculated. The program returns the linearization functions: one is in approx mode, the other is in exact. All mode changes are restored after the program executes, so your orginal mode setting will not be changed. Simple and easy to use, yet very helpful in Calculus. -------------Instructions: Transfer the LINEARIZ.89P file to any directory on your calculator. When you run the program, you are asked to enter a function and a point x0. Then just press ENTER (or ESC to exit) and you will be given the linearization in exact and approximate modes. -------------Update(s): None. This is the first version of the program. -------------Known Bugs and Important Notes: None (just make sure you enter a valid function with no '=') -------------Thanks!
