Thanks for using Ultimate Shell v1.0 Jon R. Johnson Special Thanks (in no particular order) to: Andreas Ess for the cool shell source Jimmy Mardell for the Zshell school Usgard Team For Usgard the Awsome Asm Shell Doug Melton Lock routines eggplant farms for HAL & unlocker Daniel Hudson Ideas, Support Myself putting this thing together everyone who discovered any bugs or will also anyone who uses this and anyone who benefits from this "Ultimate Shell" If you find more features than I mentioned, consider them "Easter Eggs" also I have discontinued work on this project, due to lack of interest, however I learned a few more tricks, and am making a totally fresh shell that will be more wide spread to General Public Interest. I plan to make use of a funny bug I found in the Ti-85 to create a shell that will burst through the current confinds of the past and bring us toward the Future with this new interface called: Future O.S. it's currently being developed right now, some of the features it will have when I release it in a while are: Guide: (*** means Completed), (** Means in progress), (* means still to come) *** Customizable Password Patterns (Enable/Disable for startup) ** Folder Changeability (3-4 Folders, fully configureable) -Also will not take up extra space such as Winshell did to store the names of your variables, but actually puts them in a "virtual" folder for your personal needs. The current folder names are exact order are: (Games, Utils, Other, & Hidden) If you have any more ideas please contact me as I still can make 4 yes only 4 more valid virtual folders. However, If you really want to go Way Out To ???? I could allow for the true available amount of valid/invalid folders 256 however I WILL NOT under any condition ever do this, you only have 28k not 28gig to work with so lets be reasonable. 8 folders should be more than neccessary. * The Basic Programmer's Deluxe (Optional as a second version) * Possibly ability to Run Special Basic programs right from the actual shell. *** All the features of Cool Shell+ (Yep there still here) ** Also as always I included some other features in the shell, but you have to wait until I release the shell, as I am not yet willing to reveal the "Features" Please note that this is not fully programmed nor will it be any time soon so please enjoy the Ultimate Shell(s) that are currently available, until your Ti-85 shell looks more like an Ti-86 shell. Thanks for reading the preview to my latest project: "Future O.S." for the Ti-85. http://connect.to/futureos I stated this back in January, I have updated this document since then (& added more versions of Ultimate Shell that were collecting dust on my harddrive, but should have been released earlier?). I would like to let everyone know Future O.S. has moved from Alpha to Beta stage now, I have a few features to add, modifications, & optimizations to make, and hopefully will be releasing it in a Month or so, early August '99. I thank you for your patience since this really has been my longest project ever, (in my whole life)! Jon R.
