This program is a quick way way to do easy problems in Geography. The theory is this: for every 1000 feet elevation increases, the temperature increases by 3 degrees. 2 types of problems were presented to my Geography class, one finding the temperature at a given altitude, and the other finding the altitude for a given temperature. Example: It is 45 degrees at 2500 feet. What is the temperature at 7539 feet? To do this on the program, select 1:degrees for finding degrees, type in 45 for degrees, and 2500 for feet. Put in 7539 for height. Taa-daa, the temperature is 29.883 degrees. The other type of problem involves being given base temp and elevation, and finding the elevation that would correspond to a certain temperature. This can be solved by selecting 2: feet at the menu, and inputting data simlarly to the first problem.
