Z By Wade Sims simsw3d@home.com *** DISCLAIMER *** I cannot be responsible for any damage done to your calculator or yourself, real or imagined. ****************** ------------ INTRODUCTION ------------ Z. Another useful but common program. This one just happens to have a couple of options. What does Z do you ask? It takes the graph window and makes the dimensions in equal proportion to the graphing window. If you don't speak fluent Geek, it means that you don't get those long and annoying numbers when you press left or right when tracing a graph. No more having to hand type those numbers, which are too troublesome to remember. ------------- Requirements: -Ti-83 Plus calculator (duh) -TI-GRAPH LINK or a keyboard to enter it by hand, hehe, like you have the time... -202 bytes free. ------------- Installing and running -Send the program to your calculator via the Graph Link (or type it by hand). -Go to your program menu and select it. -Press ENTER -You'll get a menu with the options to go to Standard, Friendly, or Decimal Friendly Standard -How the calculator leaves the factory. X and Y Min= -10 X and Y Max= 10 Friendly -A much, well, friendlier view without those pesky real numbers X Min= -47 Y Min= -31 X Max= 47 Y Max= 31 Decimal friendly -Friendly window that increases by .1 instead of 1 X Min= -4.7 Y Min= -3.1 X Max= 4.7 Y Max= 3.1 Any problems? E-mail me, but just ask yourself "Why am I in a class that uses a graphing calculator and I can't figure out a program that an idiot wrote?" Enjoy!
