-------Wave Grapher V1.02-------- --------By Yuzhou Jiang----------- Programming in TI-basic for the TI-83 Plus Intro: WAVEGRPH is basically just Wave Grapher Wave Grapher was a program I made after beginning physics. What it does is it allows you to sketch the graph of a wave and then it shows you waht happens after the two waves interfer with each other. When you are entering the equation for the graphs, you only need to know the amplitude, wavelength, and how far left and up its been shifted. Using these simple terms, you don't have to think at all about what the actual equations of the graph are - making it much easier! Then, when you have done the equations for the two graph, wave graphers lets you view the equation and also lets you fiddle around with the window resolution and qualtiy factor of the graphs. The higher the quality, the slower it graphs. When you press graph, it will graph your two graphs and then after oing some calculation, will display what happens after the two waves have undergone construtive or destructive interfernce! If you then go to sovle, it will show you what value Y is at when you select an X value! This nifty little program is great for learning about trigonometric graphs an the way waves interact in our physical world!
