When used with the Screen Shot maker (not included and by some one else) making program, this program can be used to make pictures for use with another program. These programs were made on the TI-83 Plus Silver Edition, so they may be slow on a non- Silver Edition calculator. You've been warned. ********************** ***** File Stats ***** ********************** TI Draw Program Name: TIDRAW Size: 2011 bytes (space is mesured in bytes) Speed: good on SE; may be slow on regular Plus Purpose: Primary image editor Optional: No Locked: Yes Comments: This is _the_ best image editor! TI Text Program Name: ITTEXT Size: 3318 bytes Speed: Will work OK on regular Plue calculator Purpose: To allow you to easily place text on pictures Optional: Yes Locked: Yes Comments: This is the only program that allows you to place text in your image! Alternating Picture Program Name: ALTER Size: 202 bytes Speed: all right; not fast but not too slow Purpose: Makes alternating black/white image Optional: Yes Locked: No Comments: Be patient. Black Screen Maker Program Name: FILLSCR Size: 112 bytes Speed: same as prgmALTER Purpose: To fill the screen in all black Optinal: Yes Locked: No Comments: Be patient. Sample Picture Program Name: WRDPIC Size: 800 bytes Speed: N/A Purpose: Sample picture program made with Screen Shot Maker Optinal: N/A Locked: N/A (is an Asmbly program) Comments: To use this, you must hit "2nd" then "0" and select from the menu "Asm(". Then select the program WRDPIC. These are sample word pictures. Try and find what they mean. THIS PROGRAM IS PENDING; IT WILL BE ADDED LATER! ****************************** ***** Using the programs ***** ****************************** ***** TI Draw ***** First, upload prgmTIDRAW to your calculator. Then run it. You will see a title screen. Hit ENTER. Then you will see the "Keys?" menu. Here you select the set of keys you would like to use. The arrow keys option uses the following setup: Move up: ^ Move down: v Move left: < Move right: > Black line: 2nd Erase: MODE Move freely: DEL Clear screen: STAT Invert: X,T,O,n For the NUM pad option: Move up: 8 Move down: 2 Move left: 4 Move right: 6 Move up and right: 9 Move up and left: 7 Move down and left: 1 Move down and right: 3 Black line: ) Erase: ( Move freely: , Invert: ÷ Clear Screen: 5 If you choose "All" you can use either. For the Menu, just hit "Y=". You can select from "Random: On", which which turns random pictures on, "Random: Off", which turns randon pixels off, "Random: Change", which inverts random pixels (I have probitly program that can mesure how many pixels are on and off.), "Change MODE", which lets you change what mode you are using, "Programs...", which leads to the extra fuction menu, "Help", which gives you simple in-program help, and "Back", which returns you to the program. To end the Random pixel fucton, just hit any key. In the programs menu, "*Fill Screen" leads to the fill screen program, "*Alternating" leads to the ALTER program, "Invert" inverts the screen (be patient!), "Back" returns you to the main menu. NOTE: A * means that it is an external program! ***** TI Text ***** First, select where you want your text in the TI Draw program. Use then programs menu to then select TI Text program. Then just hit the keys as though Alpha lock was on. To switch case, hit Alpha. To do numbers and letters, hit 2nd. From symbol mode, MATH will insert more symbols, 2nd will go to Caps letters, and Alpha will go to lower case letters. While in symbol mode, use the arrow keys to move and Y= to invert a pixel. Hit CLEAR to return to TI Draw. If you run TI Text with bad X/Y corrds, TI Text will display an error message and quit. [The other programs do not need any user input.
