RaptorWare Presents: RW Pic2Hex! v1.1 By Drew Shockey aka RaptorDrew raptordrew@covad.net Created 04/03/03 for the TI-83 +/Silver RaptorWare's site: http://fly.to/raptorware What is Pic2Hex!? Pic2Hex is a program I made when trying to make converting pictures into hex a little simpler. It nearly drives me crazy doing it by hand, and I'm not near a computer all the time. Since I program for the Palm (somewhat), I needed something I could use to create hex code for pics I made. Thus, Pic2Hex was made. How do you use it? Simply put RWHEX.8xp on your calc. Run it, and First choose "Set win vars" from the menu. Now you can create your pic, inside the box created on the screen (yes, I know thats kinda small; but lists can only do 1000 elements, and it takes forever even on an 83 Silver to compile that size pic). The screen will tell you what to do for typing in coordinates when creating hex. For example, if the cursor says "27, -24" on the edge of your pic, the actual coordinates you need to put in the compiler are "28" and "25". More info on how to use Pic2Hex! are in the "How to use" item on the menu. The hex is stored in String0 for your viewing. Enjoy! What's the catch for this program? Besides the insane amount of time it may take to convert the pic, this program is free. If it was sold to you, sorry, you were screwed from some of your money. Go beat up that person, and let me know so I can laugh at them. History: v1.1 Size 2.49kb created 04/03/03 Initial release to public; I forget what the difference between it and 1.0 were, but it's something important to keep the ".1" there. Well, that's it.
