***************************** * HMWRKMNGR.8xp * * Distributable Version 1.6 * ***************************** by "Charlemagne" and Kiran Nair 3/30/02 BASICS: ----------- Homework Manager is a program that is essentially a planner that manages homework. It is intended for people in school, from the age at which they have enough homework to need to write it down to the age when they don't. ZIP INCLUDES: ----------- -hmwkmngr.8xp This is the program -aa.8xp This is a "shortcut" to the program -PleaseReadme.txt This is the readme -str0.8xs This is Str0 (Str0="") -hwkrstor.8xg This is Str0, HMWKMNGR, STRFIX, and AA grouped -strfix.8xp This fixes up your Str's for use by HMWKMNGR HOW TO USE THEM: ----------- -To get to HMWKMNGR faster, run prgmAA. That way, you don't have to scroll down the list of programs. -HMWKMNGR requires all of your strings (sorry). If told to Save Homework, it will Archive them except for Str0. This is to prevent homework loss after an accidental RAM clear. If your RAM does clear, ungroup HWKRSTOR and it will give you what you need to get up and running again. -STRFIX should be run once before HMWKMNGR. Then you can delete it if you want to. If you want to clear all of your homework, run it again. ABOUT THE PROGRAM: ----------- The program is very self-explanatory. For homework entry, you have the basic class periods (Science, Math, English, History, and Other) plus 2 Long-Term assigments (projects, etc.). Saving means Archiving the Str's. HISTORY: ----------- Everyone that has used this program (before this posting) that I know of has liked it. I am sure you will too. There were many other versions, but unless I can find enough things that need fixing, I will never make another version after this. TIPS/FAQ'S: ----------- -If you go to Enter Homework and see that you don't want to enter something, type "BACK". You will go back to the Main Menu w/o writing over your work. -If you get an error that says "ERR:UNDEFINED", then run STRFIX (unless you want to do it the hard way and make the missing strings yourself). -When entering homework, if you change something you've typed, the bottom half of the screen will dissapear. Don't worry, there's no harm done because the information is still there. CONTACT: ----------- Send questions or comments to: tallknight@ev1.net "Charlemagne"
