Program Information: ******************************************************* Program: Lockout1, Lockout2, Lockout3, Lockoutp Type: Basic Size: Lockout1 - 723 bytes Lockout2 - 619 bytes Lockout3 - 872 bytes Lockoutp - 647 bytes Last updated: August 1998 Version: 1,2,3,Plus Programmer: Jon Johnson Company: GamecrazZ Calc: Ti-82 Password Encryption: Yes ******************************************************* Lockout is a basic program that allows you to lock others out of other basic programs! how it works: you simply edit the other program to before it does anything else run the lockout program, then when you run the program it will lock you out if you dont know the pass. ******************************************************* Lockout1: This program when you first run it takes you to a menu where you can set the pass, and set the time. Be sure to set the time for at least 5 seconds or you will have big problems! If you set the pass then next time it is run the password will be activated and you will only have as much time (in seconds) as you set it for to enter the passcode. ******************************************************* Lockout2: This program takes you to the set pass, quit menu when you first run it, it gives you a standard of 15 seconds to log in after the pass is set, this is probably the most preferred out of this & lockout 1. ******************************************************* Lockout3: This program is for when you have more than 1 person in your home you have to share your calc with, but you don't want your friends playin all the games. When you start it ask for a user number 1 through 3, remember your number as you will use it each time. this is much like lockout1 when you get to the menu, except if you forget to set the time limit you get the 15 second standard, instead of being screwed! Remember if your number if 1 you can only log in with your pass as num1 user unless all others share same pass as you! ******************************************************* Lockoutp(Plus): This program is mostly like Lockout2 but it uses a matrix that users can not edit of view to store the stuff to, then if you have other programs that use the matrices your pass will not be overwritten I think that this is probably the best one to use but I've included all so that you have your choice! THis also uses 15 second pass entry protection! ******************************************************* Disclaimer: I am not in any way responsible for damage that occurs to your calc while this program is on it. THis program never damaged mine or my beta testers! But I will only pity you a little if damage occurs. ******************************************************* Future features: If I get enough response/Suggestions I may add: - Choice selection to the user allowed to run the program on lockout3 - you suggest it i'm out of ideas already! ******************************************************* The reason behind this program: I was browsin the basic lockout programs at ticalc.org and i noticed that all of them sucked only because you had to edit it to change the pass word, why not edit the program? because any stupid person could easily wipe out the pass protection easily solution: write a program that allows user to change the pass word inside it after they have entered the original to get inside the program, Edit protect the basic program! therefore I, claim this program the best ti-82 basic program run protector released to public! ******************************************************* Contacting the author: E-mail: jrjinfinity@hotmail.com
