RANDBIN.82P by Daniel Bishop, June 2000 (freeware) How to use this program: 1. Run prgmRANDBIN. 2. Enter the number of trials (NUMTRIALS). 3. Enter the probability of success on each trial (PROB). This must be between 0 and 1. 4. Enter the number of simulations (SIMULATIONS). This must be between 1 and 99, inclusive (1 and 999 on the TI-83). 5. A list of random numbers is displayed. Use the left and right arrow keys to scroll through this list. The list is stored in L1 for use in future calculations. Example: prgmRANDBIN NUMTRIALS=?10 PROB=?.5 SIMULATIONS=?99 {6 6 4 9 7 2 6 ... Each number in the list could represent the number of heads in 10 coin tosses. This is equivalent to the TI-83 statement randBin(10,.5,99) -> L1 Contact me: If you have any questions or comments, please e-mail me at danb2k@hotmail.com or danb_83@hotmail.com
