[TI-M] Re: complexes, ti-89 & 92+, polar and cSolve

All I know is that
e^(i * t) = cos(t) + i * sin(t)
so im not sure why you are getting the incorrect answer with that one.

Subject: [TI-M] complexes, ti-89 & 92+, polar and cSolve

Hi guys again :)
I have some problems with cSolve and complex numbers.
Suppose I have my calc with mode in radian and complex polar form. Alright,
now, I do

(being e= euler's constant, and i the imaginary unit)
e^( i * 2 * Pi / 9) and ENTER -> (-1)^(2/9) appears.. what's that??

then, i want  ( e^(i * 2 * Pi/9) ) ^3 -> sin and cos and tg-1 stuff.. but
can be put back in simplified polar form by doing a tcollect command :)

but. the real problem comes when cSolve(z_^3 - 1/ (sqrt(3)-i)^4 = 0,
z_) and there are three solutions, which is correct, but the way they're
displayed is totally annoying to the ones i found by doing it by hand.

Does someone know how to convert those expressions to more simplified ones?

Thank you.
