TI-M: Obscure results instead of error's
Moin, hope I'm doing everything right, I just subscribed to this list and
didn't recieved any letter yet *g*
Now our problem:
Just try the following:
solve(x^2+3,x=2)
Didn't make any sence, or? Our calculators with AMS 1.0 returned an error,
that's what should happen *g* But when we try it on a calculator having the
AMS 2 we get x=1.732......
Nonsense, or? What happend? Try another Value for x, for example 99, you'll
get the same value for x....
Second, we tryed
solve(x^2-3,x=2) and we got x^2-3
Can anyone help us? What do these values mean?
