40% of the nation's juniors and seniors take the AP calculus test at one 
time or another.
Of those, about 8% (give or take) take BC instead of AB.
Of those still, 12.9% get 5's every year due to the College Board's bell 
curve restrictions.

So... doing the math... (.4)(.08)(.129) = 0.4128%. Being generous and 
rounding up, that means 1/2 of 1% of the nation got a 5 in BC calculus.

Not to be pompous, but that's statistically not very many people. :P
