Yeah, talking about bandwidth...
Ticalc.org used to strip any weird things off the list e-mails? Anyone
knowing why they're not doing it anymore?

The HW1's read the LCD memory constantly (DMA)... that of course uses up =
bus bandwidth... on HW2's, the lcd memory is mirrored, and because of =
that, there is no need to snoop for the lcd mem so the bus is freed up =
for other tasks.

I do know that the HW1 uses 70ns SRAM while the HW2 uses 85ns SRAM.
