I made something with a PIC time ago.. I made the calc program in asm.. but you can make a simple one and call it with basic. here is the link http://www.dvz.fh-koeln.de/~b012414/carlos/pic_interfacing.html I also made one that used only 2 pins from the PIC... but works sort of buggy right now.
