I was wondering if the value sent to port 7 on the ti-86 is latched to the link port or not. I have attempted to view the status with a voltage meter, but it seems as though the wires stay right around 5.7 volts w/ respect to the link ground. This is of course with no calc or external hardware hooked up to the calc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
