er, coupla problems with that...

digital cell phones use GSM voice compression. there's virtually no way to
put any kind of data through there other than voice, which it's optimized
for. analog cell phones just sound like ass & you probably wouldn't be able
to get much out of them either... some digital phones have a built-in modem,
but the networks charge heaps of cash to use it, generally.

bluetooth, now, that sounds interesting. that could get very interesting
indeed. and complicated, though ;)

i'd still stick with a simple modulator/demodulator circuit and a couple of
FRS radios.
