     An excellent point and one I'd forgotten to consider!
     I remember that, when I was working, we had a Pepsi-owned soft drink 
dispensing machine.  But, a bunch of us really preferred Coke.  So, the 
person who kept the machine filled always made sure that it contained the 
kinds of soft drinks that SOLD, not just Pepsi products (though they were 
there, too.)  Only problem was that, when the machine would crap out (which 
was often) and we absolutely had to call in a service tech because ours 
couldn't fix it, we had to make sure we removed all of the 'alien' brands!  
Kept us on our toes!
