My understanding is that even if you wrote it for a two year old (which
would take an inordinate amount of time anyway) there would still be
one-year olds asking for help.

I would start out stating:
This was written with a proficient electronics hobbyist in mind.  If you
do not know which direction a resister goes in the pc board, please do
not attempt my projects until you have reached that level.  While I
would love to help you understand electronics better, there are many
more introductory electronics resources on the internet which are
written better than what I could do.  I would rather spend my time and
yours going directly to the meat.

I may be able to help on the windows USB programming, depending on time.
