Years divisible by 4 are leap years. Unless that year is a 00 year. unless that
00 year is ALSO divisible by 400. So while 1700,1800, and 1900 were NOT leap
years, 2000 will be. That's the reason why a Macintosh's first date(when the
battery dies) is Jan. 1st, 1904.(The first leap year beginning with 19). As for
Y2K being imagined, it surely wasn't, but it looks like incredible work around
the world paid off, and avoided disaster. Now that it's 2000, where's my
freaking jetpack and flying cars? House chore robots? Something, come on....
