Sounds like your 83 is DEAD. How long does the warrany last? if yours is run out, your probably screwed, but call TI anyway. Jeff Barrett PS youve probably tried this, but did you try BRAND NEW batteries?? I has an 83 a long time ago that acted freaky because of a damaged battery.
