TI-H: faster intterupt...
Has anyone ever thought of trying to speed up the ~200hz interrupt on
the ti-86. Or any calc for that matter. With a faster intturpt,
grayscale would look much better, plus maybe we could go to a full 4-bit
grayscale.
A bad way to get 4-bit grayscale would be to put a clock on the serial
port and run a program that poles this port and switches video on the
rise of this clock. a fast maybe ~400hz or faster clock could be easily
made fast enough to do this. But the bad thing is that it requires
outside electronics, and the program can nothing else except pole the
serial port to keep the 4-level grayscale working...
