I have a homemade parallel link for transferring progs from my computer
to my calc, and vice versa.  It works on a computer at my neighbor's
house (a Packard Bell), it works on two school computers (an HP and some
other kind), but it refuses to work on either my IBM Aptiva or my IBM
386.  Is this just an IBM thing?  I've heard that the newer parallel
ports are at fault, but it works fine on the brand new Hewlett Packards,
and doesn't work on the antiquated 386.  Can anybody tell me why?  Can I
fix this so it will work on my Aptiva?
